India has 3rd largest Air passenger population

Have you ever had the opportunity to board a flight? I just had 2 times, wondering how people afford it. Indian’s are undoubtedly enjoying the air rides. There has been an increase in the number of passengers travelling via air medium since last year. The stamp has been marked by the report given by IATA (International Air Transport Association). It has ranked countries based on the number of air passengers. India has secured its place on the third rank.

Can you imagine? Times of India reported that around 400 crore passengers have used the schedule services all over the world. This sum constitutes both the domestic as well as international flights.

 Wondering which all countries are on the 1st and 2nd Position?

1st Position – The highest count of fliers has been 63.2 Crore and America has been ranked here.

2nd Position – This number counts to 55.5 crore which has been a tally with China.

3rd Position:  with 16.1 Crore , India has been ranked above rest of the countries

Following them are United Kingdom and Germany who comprises of 14.7 and 11.4 crore air travelers.

Will future have Air Traffic as an issue?

Talking about the present, Indian air traffic (domestic) has been on an increase for the 47th uninterrupted month in July 2018. Even IATA (International Air Transport Association) has reported that the India’s domestic passenger volume is the highest among other top notch countries. The passenger volume is measured in RPK (Revenue Passenger Kilometer). There has been a shift in the RPK by 18.3 % from the last year.
